Serenity! - Peace of God
Dear Friend,
Serenity is a wonderful and beautiful word. What does Serenity means to you? According to the Oxford Dictionary, serenity is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. I do believe serenity is a gift from God. I refer to Philippians 4: 6-9 - The King James Bible as follows:
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
You can receive the gift of serenity based on these scriptures because the God of peace shall be with you. We should treat this gift as a valuable opportunity to commune with God and trust God in our heart. Please, look at the picture below. It is Full of Life - Lovely and Free. I receive serenity through this picture knowing that God loves all of us including this little bird.
Most of all, let love guide your life and the peace of God rule in your hearts. Always, be thankful based on Colossians 3:14-15. I feel that I must mention peace of mind to you, which is very similar to serenity. Remember, all good things come from God. Peace of mind is a mental state of calmness or tranquility, a freedom from worry and anxiety according to Dictionary.com Here are some ways you can find peace of mind. Remember, stay positive especially with music. Lifehack offers 40 ways to find peace of mind. My family and I used a lot of the ways mentioned together such as shopping and video games. Reading is normally done in a quiet place, but we are still together.
I hope you find this information to be helpful to you.
God Bless,
Sincerely,
